Fine Stoneware

Costa Nova fine stoneware is crafted from natural clay and mineral-based materials, making it eco-friendly and biodegradable, with a manufacturing process that uses significantly less energy. Additionally, all their excess clay is reused.

Many hands touch each of their ceramic pieces – although Costa Nova factories are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the manual process remains predominant.

 

Suitable for oven, microwave, dishwasher and freezer

Fine stoneware pieces are highly resistant to thermal shock, withstanding variations between -20ºC and 250ºC (0ºF to 500ºF). Maximum recommended thermal variation is 180ºC (350ºF).

Recommendations

  • Avoid placing hot items directly from the oven onto cold surfaces.
  • Do not use over direct flame.
