At our altitude you almost have to use a pressure cooker to prepare beans, stews and other traditionally slow cooked dishes. Tonight we target a big holiday menu and show how much easier entertaining is using a variety of pressure cooker pans. Party planning and timing will be discussed as well as how to adapt your favorite recipes for pressure cooker use. Our menu includes: Spiced Carrot & Ginger Soup, Beet Salad with Blue Cheese & Walnuts, Quick Chicken Stock, Orange Candied Yams, 7-minute Mashed Potaoes, Pumpernickle Pecan Stuffing, and Brulee Apple Bread Pudding with Lime Zest & Cranberries. Students receive a 10% discount on Fissler Premium Cookers. (Hands-on)
