Intigrated induction bottom - the induction disk is impact or pressure bonded on to the bottom of the aluminum body with high pressure bonding to create a tight fit so there is no gap between the disk and the body. In the less expensive methods, competitors use a sandwich bottom induction disk, there is a gap between the disk and the body which allows a portion of the heat to escape which is ineffiecient and results in uneven heat diffusion and slower cooking.
